"Does it Check Out?" is a road safety campaign co-designed with three other members to address the over-representation of young people driving in unsafe cars. We use a relatable task of checking food quality while grocery shopping as a metaphor for checking safety features when purchasing vehicles. This campaign was selected by the Re:act program and rolled out across Victoria.
In both vertical and horizontal formats, the primary billboard design emphasises that “A safer car is packaged for every budget”, and the secondary posters incorporate split imagery to highlight the importance of three safety features: ESC, AEB, and Side Curtain Airbags.
